How long is the session?
It depends on the package. Creative Package 1 is up to 45 minutes with two looks. Creative Package 2 runs up to 1.5 hours across studio and location with three outfit changes. The Portfolio session is up to three hours with five outfits, two makeup and hair looks, and both studio and outdoor work. Plan to arrive a few minutes early so we can talk through your looks before we start.
How fast will I get my photos?
Digital proofs typically come one to two days after the shoot. Retouched finals follow after you've made your selections. If you're up against a submission deadline or a specific casting, tell me when you book and I'll work to your date.
How many images do I get?
Creative Package 1 includes 5 color-corrected images and 2 high-end retouched finals. Creative Package 2 includes 8 color-corrected and 2 retouched images. The Portfolio package includes 50 color-corrected and 10 retouched.
Do I choose the photos, or do you?
You do — with my help. You'll see the images on screen throughout the session, so we can adjust as we go. Once you're happy with the shoot, we sit down and edit it down together, and I'll give you my honest feedback on which frames are strongest before we select your finals for retouching.
What does a makeup artist cost?
$350 for my professional makeup artist, which includes light hairstyling. It's an add-on to Creative Packages 1 and 2, and hair and makeup are included in the Portfolio package. Some actors prefer to do their own or visit a salon beforehand — either works.
